Moving On Up

So earlier this week I found my name advertised on the back of a bathroom stall door in the "Commode Chronicles" and then I found my story on Lance's LIVESTRONG blog: From Cancer To National Champion. Who knew I was so famous?! Also, for those of you have not seen the Kenda site, my story is on there as well: Cancer Killer to National Champion.

Hard Work Pays Off

After three years of doctoral coursework and two masters degrees, I am finally reaping the benefits...I found my name advertised in the "Commode Chronicles" in the UCCS bathroom stall today. Hum...

Happy Halloween...one week late!
Last year's Halloween was a real trick: on chemo and peeing red. This year it was a real treat because I got to be Rainbow Brite and celebrate with all of my track racing friends.
For those of you who don't remember, Rainbow Brite was an 80's cartoon character. She rode a white horse, Starlite, and rescued the world of darkness with color. That is all I remember about her and it was a lot of fun being Rainbow Brite for a night.
