And We're Off...To Tulsa!

Renee and I packed up early yesterday morning for our 10 hour drive to Tulsa. I would have to say OK has better scenery than Eastern CO or Kansas.
This morning I went out for a spin since our race is not until 8pm...I know, past my bedtime! Luckily, that is really 7pm MST and 6pm PST. Anyways, my helmet broke and is now jery-rigged back together with electrical tape. I love crits but only when my helmet is securely fastened! Sunday's course comes with this warning: "The Riverside Crit Course is not for the faint of heart or inexperienced criterium riders. It is a demanding test not only of your athletic ability but skills as a cyclist." Bring it on!
I am tagging along with Vitamin Cottage this weekend, it is easy to find them in a crowd with those purple kits! Other big events for the weekend: Mandy is on her way to San Diego right now. She will be running in the Rock 'n Roll Marathon on Sunday!
